I have the same problem in both 9.10 and Mint 8. EMC on Thursday introduced Mac support for Mozy, its online backup service.

Has anyone seen this kind of behavior? Would someone with a similar setup be willing to do a quick test to see if it works for them? I even installed Ubuntu 9.10 to make sure it wasn't specific to Mint (blasphemy!) It's not. I installed smbfs and could then mount my shares (and this is where it got weird) - once mounted, my media players (Amarok OR Songbird) can't actually add music from those shares for some reason. There’s the 50GB plan for 5.99 per month and the 125GB plan for 9.99 per month (with discounts for 1 and 2 year subscriptions. MozyHome, the popular choice, comes in two varieties. It even includes all the MozyHome features, even file sync with Stash. On the upgrade to Mint 8, my shares weren't visible any longer. The MozyFree account gives you 2GB backup space, free. Now, this all worked perfectly under Mint 7. In order for things to play nice, I have edited fstab to have static IP entries to the shares on the win7 box. Choose one of these options: To immediately download the newest version of MozyHome for Windows, go to Step 6. Retrospect Express 7.

Not sure if anyone else is seeing this, but here's my basic setup:ġ) Win 7 box that hosts my media in my home (only because of mozyhome).Ģ) Mint PC that is a client that streams media from that box.
